Etienne Kemp
Director

Etienne grew up in Durbanville in the Western Cape and matriculated from Durbanville High School during 1986. He obtained the degree BA LLB from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994.

He was admitted as attorney at the beginning of 1997, after serving his articles of clerkship in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and obtained the right of appearance in the High Court.

He is an accredited mediator with FAMAC (Family Mediators Association of the Cape) and a FAMAC trained facilitator.

Etienne is the head of our Commercial and Dispute Resolution Departments. He primarily focuses on drafting of contracts, general litigation (including commercial law, contractual law, delictual law and family law) and alternative dispute resolution.

Jeanni Kemp
Director

Jeanni grew up in De Aar in the Northern Cape and matriculated from De Aar High School during 1989. She obtained the degree BA LLB from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994. She obtained an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch in 1999.

She was admitted as attorney and conveyancer during 2001 after serving her articles of clerkship in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Jeanni heads our Conveyancing and Estates Department. She further focuses on personal injury law with an emphasis on Road Accident Fund claims, medical negligence claims and delictual claims.

Regardt Nelson
Senior Associate

Regardt grew up in Stellenberg and matriculated from Stellenberg High School during 1998. He obtained an LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2003.

He was admitted as an attorney in 2006 after serving his articles of clerkship in Somerset West, Western Cape. He obtained the right of appearance in the High Court during 2007.

Outside of normal business hours, he acts as a Commissioner (Presiding officer) at the Small Claims Court in the Bellville Magistrates’ Court. He also forms part of the BNI business referral network (Chapter: Forte in the Northern Suburbs of Cape town).

He specialises in High- and Magistrates Court litigation with particular emphasis on Contract and Family Law, and the drafting of Commercial Contracts. He also provides services to various correspondent attorneys.

Dësire Hiemstra
Associate

Dësire grew up in Somerset West, Cape Town. She Matriculated from Hottentots Holland in 1989. Dësire then obtained her LLB in 1994 from the University of Stellenbosch.

Dësire was admitted as an attorney after serving her clerkship in Cape Town. She was thereafter admitted as attorney and conveyancer.

Dësire specialises in conveyancing, administartion of deceased estates, commercial law and contractual law.

Hantie van Eck
Professional Consultant

Hantie was born in Bloemfontein and grew up in the Western Cape where she matriculated from Strand High School in 1999. She obtained her B.Comm (Law) degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002 and her LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2004.

She was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 2007 after serving her articles of clerkship at the legal aid Clinic, University of Stellenbosch. She obtained her right of Appearance in the High Court during 2007.
