Our History

Etienne Kemp, after having completed his articles, started his own legal practice at the beginning of 1997, with two colleagues, in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Jeanni Kemp, after having completed her articles, joined Etienne Kemp as an associate in his legal practice during 2001 and became a partner during 2006.

During 2009 Etienne Kemp and Jeanni Kemp joined a firm of attorneys in the Northern Suburbs and were later joined by Riaan Nabal during 2010.

During 2014 Etienne Kemp, Jeanni Kemp and Riaan Nabal took the decision to form Kemp Nabal Incorporated, after it became apparent that they were strategically aligned to more dynamically serve their clients' interests with a commitment to exploring solutions of their clients' legal challenges in more innovative and effective ways, in this entity.

During 2020 KempNabal Inc. parted ways with Riaan. Ettienne Kemp and Jeanni Kemp continue to trade as KempNabal Inc.
